Javier is a smart and solid player both offensively and defensively.  He is proficient at playing Second Base, ShortStop, Third Base, Pitcher and all outfield positions.  Over the past two years he has primarily played middle infield and pitcher. He has played Little League ball from the age of 6 through 10 and has been on All Stars the past three years.  Javier has been taking pitching and batting lessons at Hardball Baseball Academy for the past three years.  He has had experience playing select ball during the summer and fall seasons of 2006 and 2007 and has decided that he prefers to play select ball because he is craving a more competative playing environment.

Javier is invited to attend tryouts for the 11U Texas Raiders.

Last year, we went 38-12 making the championship finals in 6-7 tournaments, winning two of those while qualifying for the USSSA and Nations World Series and State Championships for the second year in row and expext to enjoy similar results this year.  We believe in a low key environment making the atmosphere as fun as possible while playing high level ball.

Our coaches both played at the college level with our pitching instructor played at the U of H and in professional baseball.

If Javier can make the tryout, bring a copy of your son's birth certificate with you to the event and make sure to note on the form his favorite numbers, jersey and pant sizes.  We look forward to the opportunity of offering this opportunity to your son and look forward to seeing you at the field!
