Stars shine brightly in the Heavens
as they do in a mother's eyes

Our star warms our days and lights the moon for our nights
as our children warm our hearts and reflect our love

But the motions of the Heavens can blot out the light
and we are left in chilling darkness

Light at its dawn, eclipsed
an eleven-year-old boy is dead
