Bay Area Baseball Association extends its sincere condolences to the family of Jephrey Vincent, who was tragically killed on August 21 while riding his bicycle in Texas City.

Jephrey played for the 2008 11U TX Hitmen, where his father, Billy, coached and his mother, Janna, was team mom.

A fund has been established at Amegy Bank to cover the funeral expenses. The deposits should be made in the name of Jephrey Vincent to the following location:

Big League Dreams

The 10-game Fall League has a Sunday-Only option for those teams that desire it. It begins September 3 and ends November 30.

All BABA tournaments and leagues are now sanctioned under Nations Baseball.

Nations Baseball is a national youth select baseball sanctioning body with headquarters in Houston, Texas. Tournaments and teams come from all over the United States. World Series events will be held in beautiful places that teams will enjoy travelling to such as Savannah, GA, Denver, CO, and Louisville, KY, as well as Texas sites.

Nations Baseball is affiliated with Cooperstown Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY. This park is the premiere facility in the United States, with 96 teams competing in each of the 12 week-long tournaments held every summer.

More information about Nations Baseball is available on the Nations Baseball website, which is currently under construction. This website will feature many options that teams and parents have come to expect, plus many new options that make managing teams and your own player much easier and which provides much more oversight and information to the parents and coaches. Look for new features every day.

Team registration is already live—and required for BABA leagues and tournaments. The majority of tournaments (plus a tournament search feature that functions by zip code) will be available soon. BABA Fall League and several fall tournaments (and a couple in the spring) are already posted.

BABA is now offering genuine Rawlings USSSA baseballs for sale at a discount price. Maybe you playing in a World Series that requires you to supply baseballs, or maybe you just want the best baseballs for your team practices and scrimmages. Whatever your reason, we can get you fixed up with orders large and small.

Please note that these are USSSA baseballs, and USSSA accident insurance is only valid if the injury occurs while using USSSA baseballs!

Due to the weight of the baseballs, we recommend that you pick them up (in Alvin), which will result in no shipping or handling charge, but we will ship them to you if needed.

Bay Area Baseball Association is taking applications from field owners who are interested in entering into partnerships between our organization and their fields.

BABA will invest up to $15,000 in your field in exchange for a usage contract that allows us to host one weekend tournament a month and host weekday league games on specified days to be determined by mutual consent. For Little League organizations, we will work around your All Star schedules.

We will only partner with one organization over the next three years, and this organization will be selected this summer. (In addition to our investment, we also pay field rental when we use the fields.)

• marketing the tournament
